Welcome to the OpenDisc Wiki!

Current Programs

The programs currently featured on OpenDisc; we're currently migrating the current text (found on OpenDisc now) over to the wiki, so if you'd like to lend a hand and fill in the missing details we can get the ball rolling. New Programs

Once a program is nominated and we're happy that it's stable and mature, there's still work to be done. Each new program needs a one-liner, full description, and screenshots. You can help out by providing any of these, or improve on existing ones by polishing text or providing more recent screenshots.

The following are programs that have been nominated and will appear on future versions of OpenDisc:

DVD Flick, GCompris, GraphCalc, NASA Worldwind, PuTTY.

See the discussion page of each program before you edit, and once you do make changes and add information, let everybody know in the discussion page.

Replacement Programs

For one reason or another, programs listed here aren't suitable to include on OpenDisc in the future. We'd like to find replacements for them that better suit the goals and purpose than the current programs provide.

Azureus The developers are now working on Vuze, which has an additional Vuze licence that users have to agree to before use, and don't officially release updates to a standalone Azureus client.

Abakt Sadly no longer in development, and the successor doesn't seem to be up and running.

HealthMonitor Future versions of HealthMonitor are no longer open-source, and the OSS version is no longer under development.

Sokoban YASC Windows only. Translation

We're working on a multi-lingual OpenDisc (to replace the standard English version) and a community of translators are working on the OpenDisc Translation Project.
